Literary genius is at the mercy of the times. Just look at how many Victorian and Georgian/Modernist
writers were ignored during their time....two hundred years later, we're studying Mill on the Floss, Goodbye to Berlin, Leaves of Grass and T.S. Eliot, while people, like T.E. Hulme and his associates are only known in the confines of academia. Forget literary/critical theory much? lol
lol these magazines are so full of ot, at the time I was completing a Phd in Linguistics at Cambridge Uni, we had a right laugh at a few so called top magazines expense. We managed to attain a couple of lost poems written by the biggest names in world classical literature, they were quite beautiful, and they got refused each time!!! lol!!!!!!! I'm actually gonna present this as my thesis and I'll make sure theyre embarassed.
Just bought a copy last week. I like it.
