The Hingham High boys hockey team won its first Super Eight title Sunday, beating mighty Catholic Memorial, 1-0, in a riveting Division 1A state final at TD Garden. The Harbormen rode a first-period power play goal by leading scorer Tim Driscoll and some inspired goaltending by junior Derek McInnis to a win that sent the huge, red-clad Hingham cheering section into a frenzy at the final horn. Hingham (21-3-3) joins Reading (2008) as the only public school champions in the 20-year history of the Super Eight.
