Banjo Tooie - Unfinished Beta Areas

This video shows some extra unused background objects in Banjo-Tooie. There are 3 in total.

The extra values were originally found by Coolboyman from the RareWitchProject. I helped him come up with the following gameshark code that would allow you to change any background in the game:

Very boring! I see so much videos and hacks and it becomes slowy to be boring.

I think there is no way to unlock other stuff.

So don´t waste your time with it. I did it for many years but well my dreams of Rare was never forfilled.

Well, you're wrong. There's extra map data left in Tooie that hasn't been unlocked yet. Now, it's only for object placements, but it should still be interesting to look at.

If you find these vids boring simply don't watch them.

By the looks of it it's most likely an unused area from jolly Rogers lagoon which is why the music is from inside jollys tavern and says JOLLY'S when it loads

I just used Jolly's scene ID to load up these extra BG objects. They're not assigned to any scene ID's so it's not clear what they were used for.

People who enjoy the banjo series and have an interest in any "finds/discoveries" relating to them. Kinda like how there would be people interested in say someone finding Luigi in SM64. That is, if they enjoy or even care about SM64.

@BthreeTA from what I heard, I think they scrapped "Dream" because it was.....too generic? Banjo, kazooie, and tootie all had smaller roles......and tootie was originally going to be banjo's girlfriend....in the game her name was supposed to be "picallo".......not sure why they changed tootie into banjo's sister. I dont know if mumbo existed yet......but gruntilda did, and she was a giant instead of a witch.
