@scott33195 I know exactly what ur talking about. I'm in south east texas and my dad is the exact same way. I haven't come out yet. I'm pretty sure my mom will take it less hard, but I know my dad will flip. I think I might wait until I'm out of the house and have done alot more studying of the bible to make sure when i explain it to my parents I know that I have God's given word in me. Good luck to you.

i wish i would have found you :x My parents found out because they found the need to look through all my computer history and i asked a question about me being gay on yahoo answers. He went crazy and added a computer blocker, blocking all the sites that can support me and are thinking of making me go to a private school T-T

The part about giving parents time is so true. It can take years for the person that is gay to come to terms with it themselves it will take parents a long time too.
