A very quick clip of some Moog Voyager running through a Boss RE 201 Space Echo which is based on the legendary Roland RE201 tape echo. If you'd like to hear it in action some more go to http://www.myspace.com/thesimonsound

  • Thanks for the considered and well worded critique! Yes wouldn't it be cool if Roland started making the original Space Echo again!!!!!!

  • My God That Sounds Nothing Like A Space Echo :D

  • I think thats going a bit far. Having used a real Space Echo (as I'm sure you have) I agree that there are some differences but it certainly suits me for portability and price. I wish I could afford to be a gear snob but I can't!!

  • Hey, have you sent any CV from the voyager to the pedal input of the Boss unit? That'd be an awesome feature if it accepts hot CV instead of just an exp pedal.

  • I just tried that but couldn't get it to work. I need to get myself a expression pedal so I can control feedback with my foot!

  • goodbadmemory.

  • Sounds great, does the top end of the original signal remain intact? I plan on using this with some of my old analog monosynths.

  • @simonsound1 You said it all, bruv!

  • Forbidden Planet !! Excellent demo !

  • I WANT THIS VERY MUCH!!

  • @simonsound1

Also to add to that anyone owning a tape echo like myself will tell you the maintenance costs are through the roof!! Yes they were great when there was no alternatives but these days, Id rather concentrate on music that maintenance.

  • Fico!!

  • that was awesome man

  • very cool professor.

  • Love the demo and the pedal. You push gear to weird places, which I greatly appreciate.
