British director Alan Clarke's final movie before his death in 1990 at the fairly young age of 54. Most looking this up will know what it's all about but I'd hope anyone looking for Gus Van Sant's boring-arsed remake would watch this original and best version. It really didn't need a crappy story of depressed teens.

I think because it's not next to a double yellow line or blocking someone's driveway you can get away with that. I think the car further up the road is parked on that grass too.

I doubt anyone would have moaned that the Troubles weren't exciting neither, sectarian violence and shooting someone in the street tend not to be.

It's not meant to be exciting, that's the whole point.

Disagree with the uploader. This could be a Monty Python sketch. Except it's so tedious. Gus van Sant's 'Elephant' is a hundred times more interesting.

Attacking the person, not their argument, classy. You sound like someone who has never seen Van Sant's Elephant. Compared to this 'long tracking video experiment' it's a materpiece, and I rate it only above average. I don't need to say much more, your ignorance is obvious to everyone.
