this is my friend george. I believe he has high functioning autism (asberger's syndrome). he is hillarious and loves to perform. here he tells the true story of our friend bill who was his room mate for a time.

Im pretty sure Rainman is a fictional movie. George functions well enough to hold part time jobs, but he needs lots of help with everyday tasks. George is definitely a savant. He can answer just about any question on US presidents, the space program and severe weather with amazing detail and accuracy.

rainman is based upon a man named Kim Peek who is not autistic, but has his own unique brain which is quite different physically (i think missing the part that connects the right and left hemisphere but has extra neurons to compensate if i remember correctly). anyways, there's a good youtube documentary about him. check it out :)

I don't mean this in a cruel way but this guy reminds me of "Rainman" and that was supposedly based on a low functioning autistic man.
