  • I'm trying to lose 100 pounds

  • Taking it to lose weight and grow my hair longer and hair, skin, and nails 1st day and my scalp feels weird XD

  • i want to take folic acid just to grow out my hair.can anyone tell me if it's safe to take it because i haven't been to a doctor

  • I want the all world about the importance of taking folic acid before and after pregnancy it's very important tho get the word out because many don't know the benefit that can give.

Watch out antidepressants like paxil zoloft celexa pristiq and others can give all kinds of birth defects. so be aware.

  • thanks! im actually taking this to grow out my hair longer,

  • It is actually a nonproteinaceous organic substance that usually contains a vitamin or mineral and combines with a specific protein, the apoenzyme, to form an active enzyme.Folic acid is converted to its coenzyme form by two modifications , can't remember which 2 at this time .A coenzyme may either be attached by covalent bonds to a particular enzyme or exist

  • It's not like this is a big deal but folic acid is not an enzyme, it is a coenzyme. Enzymes are composed of proteins and a coenzyme is nonproteinaceous. Folic donates a formyl group to produce purines, which are part of the building blocks of RNA and DNA. Folic acid catalizes a reaction but that doesn't mean that it's a protein.

  • can i take folic acid if im taking birth control im not pregnant i just want my hair to grow
