@BloodyPixel Botha is in a different league to all of the other forwards you/'ve mentioned. That is, they play legally, and Botha plays illegally. While I respect his athelticism, skill, determination and greatness as a player, it doesn't change the fact that the forearm charges, neck grabs, spear tackles and generallky being a "right orrible cunt" are not nor ever should be part of any decent players game.

I wouldn;t mind him in my team though!.

NO ONE FUCKS WITH BAKKIES! Cry all you want! Evry Forward plays dirty, Botha does, Big Bad Brad Thorn does, Mattfield does, Schalk does, Rocky Elsom does, Mccaw does, Dusautoir does, I.harinordoquy does, O' Brien does.

The diffrence is on HOW HARD you hit and how well you can get an excuse for it.

even if your fightin about whether or not he's gay or whether or not he's a good player who's goin to be the one who runs of the pitch pissin his pants if your facing him in a match and he is a dirty player but isn't everybody at international level and the reason he hasn't been banned : Because he's someone your scared of in a match and because he's a good player who you want on your side all the time. Even with the mistakes he is still one of the greatest locks of all time. Some guys out there have gotten away with some real trash, Quad Cooper for instance so a bit silly to only focus on the negatives in a long and great rugby career.

Actually it's the other way around. To admire him I think you have to be a homosexual who likes a bit of rough. Types like him are all over the place in San Francisco and they're all gay. Seriously, walk into a gay club there and you'll find Bakkies clones propping up the bar clad in all leather with no shirt on. Just don't turn your back on these guys, like Jimmy Cowan did to Botha, lol, because they won't want just an, erm, head butt. : )
