This is a short clip of Mick Jagger singing Bob Wills is Still the King, an old Waylon Jennings song. He said this show, in Austin, Texas on October 22, 2006 was the only time he would be doing this song. The show was in Zilker Park, the only non-stadium concert on the tour. That wasn't half bad! It must be difficult for him to do that, being he has a natural British accent. He is just so bloody talented!

Waylon did the soundtrack of "Ned Kelly" which starred Mick Jagger.

@imaStonesGirl Yes the Stones do a good job playing country music and all the other styles of music they play! I'm another hardcore Stones fan(new and old) since 1972. Speaking of Texas,I used to live there (Fort Bliss-El paso,TX)and my wife's parents live in the Amarillo area(northern panhandle).

I think Mick really likes the older country songs because, like Stones songs, they just got so much soul!
