Africa by Toto played on Yamaha Tyros 2

The classic 80's song performed on my Tyros 2.

The backing style is 100% custom made by me using Cubase, however I took inspiration for the percussion and kalimba multi-pad from the style I got from www.keyboard-software.com.

I meticulously listened to the song over and over again to try and pick out all the instruments and tried to recreate them on the Tyros using Megavoices for the bass and guitar parts for extra realism.

Great video! I've started uploading some tyros vids and was wondering how you get your sound so crisp? I tried using a line out to my PC while i was recording but got loads of clipping. I think i posted my video as a video if you fancy taking a look. Thanks!

@89musicalmatt Hi. I use the on-board hard disk recorder to record directly on to my Tyros 2's internal hard disk. I then export it as a wav file to my PC.

One additional comment: you did not included the second voice at the end of the song, the high-octave one. In my opinion, if you include it, then your interpretation would be simply perfect!
