  • @canadeth73 They may especially mean that Aikman was one of the most accurate DEEP PASSERS in NFL history..If you look back at all the games, I'd bet Aikmans deep passing completion pct was one of the greatest ever..People say Aikman didn't put up a lot of yards and TDs, but with DEEP PASSING ACCURACY I'd trust Troy Aikman with the ball than Peyton Manning anyday...

  • In the 92-96 time period, Dallas and San Fran dominated the league - there really wasn't all that much separating the two teams, but there was plenty separating those two from the other teams. As such, I can't argue either Aikman's or Young's position - they were key elements to their teams, but hardly the only cogs worth noting.
