'I Fall In Love Too Easily' - Version 2.
This is a second go at this tunes that has been much played by jazz musicians on all instruments. The first version
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW63LK5KEYE is very different with lots of ostinato Left hand figiures in a more 'classical' approach.
In this, I tried lots of different solo jazz piano styles - probably too many to make a coherent arrangement! As always, it was totally improvised from a simple leadsheet, and the notation came later using software to transcribe the piano from the original midi file that was recorded as I played.
The video and midi file are on my website at http://www.bushgrafts.com In addition, there is a printable pdf file on my DVD (details at my website)
very brad mehldau lol. cool stuff

I mentioned on Too Young to go Steady that there is an Andre Previn arrangement of that piece. In the same book which you may be aware of - The Genius of Andre Previn - this piece is also represented. I was going to do this piece at first but I chose the later, the reason, this piece had too many LH chords spanning a major tenth and I have a weak (injured) LH little finger!
Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that I love the score format of your videos, and again fantastic rendition!!
