...if hooked up to a generator, what watts could this generate?

This size and type would be aprox 1 Hp which is about 600 watts. I never made a followup to this design although I got close. My hope was to get a mold made to injection mold the case.
There are some good tricks that could be used for this type that would make it more efficient. The main thing is to heat the cylinders with boiler exhaust temperatures. Uniflow, and run at higher speed.

Thanks, see the above comment for a bit more info. Yeah, i miss the VAWT site. But things changed as they do. I think those days of kicking ideas around are over. At least in regards to wings, angle, high speed lift, efficient alternators..etc...Kind of like when transistors replaced vacuum tubes.

Hey Joe, I built this up from scratch. Its really a good motor. The drawings were made for a production model with enclosed valving. A genius simple design. I had a machinist lined up willing to help at reduced cost, but things fell through. Its a very efficient Uniflow, with some other advanced bits. The cylinders would be heated by boiler exhaust, valves seal with pressure. Exhaust is at bottom of stroke and by auxillary valve. Wish I were a millionaire!
