@chinkyxtine you cant, they go where they want, and you should have done your homework on them... these really are not for begginers... they are creatures, not a coral.

just do water changes and filter maintenance for the nitrates and phosphates. The use of chemicals in my book is poor practice for reef keeping. As for the heavy metals you should use RO water. If its a $ issue get the poor mans water ion exchange filter from your LFS.

why does youyr anemene have the bulbs or bubble tips? it just looks long.
is their any chemical to remove nitrates, phosphates, silicates, and heavy metals? would my local pet store help me to find something that will remove nitrates, phosphates, silicates, and heavy metals in my reef aquarium?

@MrTvshowuploader4 Water changes will remove a lot of it, but if you aren't purifying your water correctly you could be adding them back in when you add new water.
It sounds like you need to do some research on how to care for a saltwater tank. I recommend visiting the beginners section at one of the major salt water fish keeping forums, such as Reef Central, and start reading as much as you can.

Is it ok if I can use prime water conditioner to make my corals and fish happy with clean water and the prime water conditioner will remove everything out of the tap water? every time I do water changes the prime water conditioner can help make the tank super clean and it will kill algae from the rocks? can I add a drop of prime water conditioner with fish is that ok?

@MrTvshowuploader4 I definitely wouldn't trust a chemical to clean my water. It might remove chlorine and some other toxins, but it won't remove nitrates, phosphates, silicates, and heavy metals. If I were you I'd buy a RODI filtration system and use that to purify your water.

What kind of power heads u have in your tank? do u have any soft corals in their can u tell me please? what kind of equipment u are using? does bubble anemones need strong flow or medium flow?
MrTvshowuploader4 2 years ago
@MrTvshowuploader4 Two Maxi-jet 900 powerheads with hydor-flo deflectors. Only corals I have in the tank are some zoanthids and acanthastreas. The equipment I'm using is the 2 powerheads, 2 x 65w power compact fluorescent light fixture, 2 75w visi-therm stealth heaters controlled by a single-stage Ranco temperature controller, and an AquaC Remora protein skimmer with pre-filter box and a Maxi-jet 1200.
