For me, at my stage of the breakup (1 week) this advice is quite frankly offensive to me.. It all sounds so bloody easy, when you have a big smile on your face sitting on your couch.. I've done all of those things and don't know if I'm getting better or not.. You have to do what you can when you're ready.. One size does not fit all.. All I can see now are emptiness and crushed hopes and dreams after 9 years..
