In football, linebackers are supposed to plug holes on the line to stop the run and drop back in coverage to defend against the pass as well. Play linebacker with tips from a football coach in this free video on football basics.

  • 'Strong' and 'Weak' just tells you where the TE (or if no TE then most receivers) is. It has nothing to do with what hand the QB throws with.

  • I need help with the sam position and yes i know they are backwards but I line up on the tightend Alot and Im supposed to knock him off his route in pass plays but at the same time i'm told to protect flats and how am i supposed to protect the flats and hit the tightend at the same time before the receivers make there flat routes?? Help please
