i would really love to share it with all, but since what i have is a VHR tape i don't think i can upload it on youtube.. unless there is a way to upload tape materials to the pc.. which i don't know :S

hey dswhung, i don't own this on dvd... my dad recorded this on tape when it aired on US television a long time ago, probably in the early 90s. this performance was a tv production, and as far as i know it's not available on dvd.. i tried looking for it too =(

This is not the same as the Nutcracker dvd by the two dancers which is available on Amazon. I don't see this episode there. Where can I obtain this version please?

Even though this was filmed and not before a live audience,, all other Nutcrackers will be judged by the dazzling standard set by Gelsey Kirkland in this truly magical production. It's hard to fathom this took place more than 30 years-ago.

They were so perfect together. It makes me sad that their partnership was not longer, both on and off the stage. I've never seen a partnership that was more perfect. They 'fit' so beautifully, technically, physically, everything.

Is it just me or does she look like she's absolutely floating? So extremely fluid and graceful. It's beautiful in the extreme.
