Kali tixi. Good Luck.
As you will notice, again some of these hammers and effects are not so simple to catch but it is the only way I can portray the feel of the song without loosing its essence "is that the right word?". As mentioned before, the idea is to catch and take as many tricks as you can from the different lessons and slowly you will build a repertoire of flicks & licks so they become natural. When I was learning "and I still am" I had to guess and work out this stuff myself THE HARD WAY, from listening to the players I admire so I am trying to make it that bit easier for you. I have sent this video to all my friends and contacts so please, if you are a pro player, please ignore as I do not wish to preach to anyone.

Ps. Sentonaki is lesson 006 so I shall call this lesson 005.

  • Hi there...

    great performance!

what equipment do you use to play the theme in backround? what can i do to get songs but without the bouzouki? something like karaoke but for bouzouki...

    thanks in avdance!

  • I use a computer sequencer, but I play most of the instruments one by one like a multi track recorder. You may be able to find someone that sells backing tracks on the net.

    Regards.

  • Awesome! I love your style. Please contact me - check out my site - I just recorded a House Remix on Bouzouki. It plays when my website is entered. Would you record a bouzouki solo for me to include in this song if i sent you a mp3? I think it could be a hit!

  • Thanks Yianni. In the new year I have to make some time to do some new stuff. House stuff is not my usual thing but am always up to for a new challenge. As you say, it may work and be a hit.

    Costa.

  • distixos den exw tis notes. Me t'auti to eixa ma8ei.

  • why do you keep looking at your picking hand when something goes wrong?

  • Your having a go at me today. lol.

  • Dear Rialas, you have been such a good teacher and inspiration to me, keep up the good work. What type of effects do you use to get that sweet sound out of all your different bouzoukis, I know it has to do with the player and the instrument but also the equipment. I have struggled to get this sound for years. If you could give me a little incite I would be gratefully appreciated.

  • Love it, I just learnt this song, one of my faves, on my bouzouki! I just need to develop more of my own style like you. Do you play any vamvakari songs that you' d recommend I learn? Again, well done, love your style.
