All that cheering at the start and middle of this video is from Troy fans. There must have been at least 5,000 - maybe more - in Tallahassee that day. The Marching Chiefs were all but drowned out by the Sound of the South. The FSU fans said Troy brought more fans and was louder than any ACC or SEC visitor, except maybe Florida.
What I remember most about the SOS at that game was that the FSU people on the side lines, especially the ones stationed in front of the FSU band, kept saying that the Troy band was too loud... they said it was too hard to hear their band. From the sidelines near both bands, it really was hard to hear them play when the SOS was playing....Fanfare blew them away!!!! Go TROY and love the SOS
