  • my point is why play a sequence of chords in this manner. Just play them in the same clips. This is pointless.

  • @MrPetepetepete It's all about context. I enjoyed messing around in this video and a few people have enjoyed watching it. Beyond that, it's just another option that will fit into someone's creative flow and kill a few creative blocks.

  • man this is awesome, especially for peeps like me who cant play :-) cheers for this. although i'm gonna have to watch it several timez...

  • @beckfordism What's up B! :-) How are those beats coming along?

  • Fantastic lushous sounds. Many possibilitys for this in US Garage. Where you guys come up with these ideas i dont know but thanks for sharing. Any ideas on any tutorials on designing indian instruments in Ableton Operator (Tumbi, Indian flute).

    Many thanks.

  • @jaydaring1 It all starts with a "what if". Like you, "what if I could design Indian instruments in Operator". Then you disappear for a few hours.

  • Unbelievably helpful, great tutorial.

  • @MrPetepetepete You can use a midi foot controller or build a foot controller from a PC keyboard (there are plenty of tutorials of that over the net) and you can trigger chords while you play the bass and sing in a jam with a drummer and another musician. Pathetic your lack of imagination :D

  • @MrPetepetepete Sorry, to correct myself: not dance music, house music.

  • @MrPetepetepete Because it's not always easy to play your chord sequence. Especially being a dj (I don't suppose you can play dance music [what he's playing here] with a live band, can you?), you have to move fast because your attention has to be split into four (or more) directions. It's easier to play a pad that has a chord and move some corssfaders at the same time rather than laying a whole chord on a keyboard and moving faders. Are you sure you understand what this guy is talking about?

  • I'm Not Sure What You Accomplished Here, But Hey, Thats Just Me.

  • I think that you could accomplish this in an instrument rack. An instrument rack would be easier to reuse and share. Does this make sense?

  • pathetic. Why don't you just play your chord sequence ?

  • Freaking xlnt man. What are the names of the chords or where did you source them out. I can read chord charts if you have em :) Thanks for this tut.
