Here's a quick overview of the Korg Nano Pad being used with Serato. The Nano Pad is pretty good. There's no noticable lag and the buttons have great response to touch.

I have my 1st scene set up to for use with 1-3 cues points and 4,8 and 16 beat loops for both the left and right decks. The Nano pad is really easy to setup with Serato. It only took me 3-5 minutes. I you need help, let me know and I will post a video explaining the setup.

This really opens up a new bag of tricks to use at your gigs. Stay posted for the Serato tricks video with the Korg Nano Pad.

  • you should paint ur wall...in what kind of shithole u live in :P ???

  • @DarkVenomGR - Thanks for loving my wall. That wall was in the process of being redone while I recorded this video. It's a basement wall that's been repaired and painted for over a year. Now there's lights that line the entire room along with the DJ lights.

  • hey ther djcdub... how u doin?... i just wanna ask if how did you connect the Korg Nano pad with serato?... is it directly connected to laptop's usb?... thanx... & more power... =)

  • All you need to do is connect the Nano Pad to your computer via USB cable, install the driver and it's ready to use with Serato. Once this is connected, you're ready to start midi mapping.

  • I don't usually comment on youtube because 80% of people that do comment are stupid teenagers with low self-esteem.

But, thank you for this video. It showed me all i need to see, and you sound so polity!

Just one question, can you use, say bank 1 to Scratch Live and bank 2 to the program that comes with the nanopad (sorry I don't remember the name) to do that cool cutting sound effect with the X and Y pad? (assuming that the program is running in the background)

    Thank you for your time.

  • I'm not too sure. I've never tried using the nanpad this way. You might be onto something. I'll play with it and see if I can use it in two programs at one time. Stay tuned.
