As they sit there Elizabeth knows about John's indiscretion...he told her in December 2006 a couple days after his Presidential announcement was made...

This guy is such a complete asshole. First, he ran for Presidency knowing he is carrying a garbage with him by cheating his wife. Second, he is cheating his wife knowhing she has a cancer and dying. Where is his concience? How stupid can this man be?

The same force that motivates a man to pursue the most important office in the W-O-R-L-D, can lead to incidents like this, but don't get me wrong, it is an absolute tragedy for all concerned, especially given circumstances, judge not lest you in turn be judged, but I do have to say one thing 'what was the guy thinking, surely he must have known that his enemies would uncover this stuff?'

He was a jerk for cheating. To do that while she was going through chemo damn that's as bad as doing it if she were pregnant. His excuse was, well she had cancer, if the show were on the other foot he would have been devastated if she cheated if he (God Forbid) had prostate cancer. What if her excuse was "he couldn't get it up?"
