Cummings responds to GOP criticism of Palin's treatment

On 9/7/08, McCain manager Rick Davis said Gov. Palin would not be interviewed until "we feel like the news media is going to treat her with some level of respect and deference."

This is the FIRST time I've EVER heard the crowd applaud an answer on Washington Week.

As a non-American, I can tell you from my partisanship-free point of view that I can accept McCain, Obama, and Biden. But Mrs. Palin is so far away from being capable of filling in the position of the American Vice President that the possibility of this woman being VicePresident is nothing less than really (and this is no exaggeration this time) c-r-e-e-p-y.

There is no doubt that McCain's White House, like his campaign, would be full of neocons. I was for a while concerned that if she were to default to the Presidency, she would almost certainly be a figure-head Pres while some warmongering maniac like Randy Scheunemann or Josh Bolton could have free reign to run the show. Then I realized that's not really a concern - with McCain present it would be a warmongering maniac running the show anyway.
