i just got that camera recentely and have been wondering, is it possible in any way to use that as a webcam?

To answer your question: No. Nikon is a pretty good brand of cameras but if you want the absolute best, I'd suggest the Canon or Sony. Casio does great with videos, just not as well with picture taking.
