Deadly Premonition felt like 'what if a japanese Twin Peaks fan made a game.'

The 'japanese people's idea of Americans' and weird regional humor added to the experience though. I'd say even the jankiness of the combat was a positive in a roundabout way.

It was nice to play 'deadly premonition'. Most of the game is based on twin peaks. Even if the shooting parts were shitty, it was interesting to play. Everything seemed so familiar to the series.

Look up TWIN PEAKS Georgia coffee commercials. There's a series of, I think it's 4 short adverts featuring a number of original actors and settings. They're funny in a goofball kinda way and it's the closest we'll get to a 3rd series of TP.
