Conde's tech support Bobbi McMullen demonstrates how to apply a Full Bleed dye sublimation transfer to a tiny teddy bear tee shirt. The transfer is created using a Ricoh® GX7000 and SubliJet-R™ sublimation inks on DyeTrans™ All Purpose Sublimation Printing Paper. The heat press used is a George Knight® DC16 Swing Away Press.

  • Is the shirt cotton? I heard sublimation only works on polyester is that true?

  • @Soulinertia These shirts are 100% polyester. Sublimation does only work with poly.

  • Well technically that's not true. Dye sublimation works BEST on 100% poly. You can dye sub anything with a percentage of poly fibers. Using a 50/50 shirt will work but the color will be washed out. So it depends on the look your going for. If you want a vintage look a 50/50 or 60/40 works well.

  • poor bear, the shirts a bit tight.

  • This lady seems familiar!
