Count Arthur Strong - the early years. In this short clip, Steve Delaney plays opposite the great Hercules Parrot what he starred with, in a scene from Herculeses Parrot's Christmas, filmed for the television in 1995. Turn on the player on, and watch a minstrel, er maestro, at work.

  • i am gutted i

  • I can tell that Steve did the policeman as his voice sounds nearly identical to the announcer of Count Arthur's radio show. So that means that Steve did the announcer part using his normal voice.

  • myutoob2009, PCRowan never said he was playing Inspector Japp!

I love that inspite of the west country accent on the Bobby, you can still hear a touch of Count Arthur's lisp!

  • The Count without the Doncaster accent! Brilliant.

  • That is not Steve Delaney, it's Phillip Jackson as James Japp, Steve Delaney plays the part of Segeant Coombes!

  • Great find!!!
