@rafael080809 agreed. Slash is very good at writing riffs and catchy solo's and his timing for both is impeccable, and he plays from the heart. Being able to shred at light speed or pinch harminic every other note does not make you a good guitar player.....Jimmy Page once said that David Gilmour (from Pink Floyd) could do more with one note than most could with a 1000 notes,

@Deltarogers I like your comparison between a fruit with a vegetable its so true.Lol! You cannot compare the type of guitar player Slash is to someone like Satriani or Malmsteen they are worlds apart. Slash isn't a shredder like those guys but he surely does a great job in the realm that he works in that's what makes him a rock n roll icon.
