Fluenz Mandarin 1+2 was designed by a small team of Harvard and Cornell graduates who were determined to find a path through Chinese that would make the most sense to English speakers. This unique perspective helps learners master the basics faster, as the grammar and vocabulary are explained in English by a tutor who guides learners every step of the way. Fluenz Mandarin takes advantage of the most advanced media technology to create an immersive learning environment that recreates the model of classical education right on your computer. The result is the most powerful, comprehensive program for learning Mandarin available.

  • I don't like the black and red layout. I think Rposetta stone looks better.

  • @fablehaven39 Do you know if fluenz mandarin 1+2+3 would be good enough for work purposes, specifically in finance? Would I be able to have a lengthy conversation with native speakers?

Sorry that you're getting an answer so late. If you don't remember what you wrote, you commented; 'How much Mandarin would I learn? I mean, what would my level be after I finish the entire Fluenz program?'

You learn the basics in the first few sessions (sessions 1-8) then you get into the more advanced stuff like 'where is the meeting being held?' and 'Do you know when you will finish work?'. Just think of it like chinese classes at school. Chinese 1, chinese 2 and chinese 3.

  • How much Mandarin would I learn? I mean, what would my level be after I finish the entire Fluenz program?
