el mejor guitarrista del mundo!!!

is this the only time he played this song live?

@wakabayashigenzo on second thought, this isn't really that hard. cliffs of dover's gonna be a pain to learn, though!
-
So... I was taught the beginning of this song today, and am expected to fully learn it so I can play it in public in 13 days. I'm officially screwed.
-
Finally! Learned the notes... okay... I can play the song... but GOD... he's mastered the art of winding his fingers in the oddest positions. XD He's found his little way of playing and the only way to replicate it is by playing his way. Which, by the way, is insanity if you didn't guess. Example, 3:21-3:25. That's the one lick that I just cannot get to sound like him. If that's not at least 20 years of experience right there, then I implore you to show me otherwise... >.<

This song means a special something to me. If you're a guitarist you can fully appreciate the mastery of Satch, If not by the speed at which he plays, but the feeling that he simply *pours* into these songs. Brilliant is really the only word I can use, it's outstanding (l)

Good Question. I wont be surprised if he use loops because his pedal board is big enough to accommodate a loop effect. Though he has a backing guitarist he might use a loop effect to play 3 or guitars in the mix.
This is an assumption but not a definite conclusion.

Your comment brings me a question i asked to myself: Does he used loops with pedals on the backside of his amps or in the middle of two pedals?
this is one of the best satriani songs..not a note is wasted..he's practically singing with his guitar

so insanely perfect. 8 years of playing this song and I can barely hold a candle to that. He's not only mastered the guitar, but every nuance and detail associated with its effects.
