i believe the icelandic horses are pacers, thats different completely.
tommy as with all the horses out of the speck bloodline are single footers. horses that pace wont be near as smooth as a single footer

This looks similar to what the islandic horse does, is it?

i agree, at the time of the video ole tom didnt have much speed, but he hasnt reached his full size or muscle tone, he will fill out a lot and gain speed. tom wont be the fastest but he will be plenty fast enough to keep up on the trail. i however dont agree about the average part, tom is extremely smooth, great lungs and heart, and will hang with anything on the trail, very intelligent, he also has many brothers the same way, most with very good speed also.

looks smooth, average horse, nothing special, no speed
Beautiful horse - seems to have a great attitude - moves out really nice. Nice job with his training as well - he looks very happy to be working for you.

Thank you. I have never been on a pacer, but have ridden a Paso Fino and a Silgle foot horse. The horse in this video is just great. Wish it were mine.

he can be, or at least 1 like him. tommy sold but i still no who has him, he may not want to sell such a good horse but we have more colts on the ground, 4 mares due in july, and also his sire breeds for a very reasonable fee and throws colts just like him

Just visited your site - love stallion: Charlie. Good heavens - the rider doesn't jiggle one little bit even at top speed. I may not know gaited horses completely - but that's smooth. And I love how mellow he looks no matter what - very important trait. (FYI - both stallion videos / audio load at the same time - it sort of messes up the page even on a fast dsl connection) Lovely horses - enjoyed them very much. You're bookmarked for when I'm in the market for something smooth in the future. :)
