Let's Play Pokemon Emerald Nuzlocke: Episode 43

Post Game Shenanigans, Part 1: We take another trip to the safari, rerock Roxxane, beat up Brawly, and then go hunting for a Legendary who likes to run.

Rules thus far:
Rule 1: If a pokemon faints, its dead. It cannot be revived.
Rule 2: I can only catch the first pokemon I see in each area (Route, Cave, City, etc.), although in the event of a Shiny, it can be caught. Even if a place has multiple areas (Caves, Safari Zone, etc.), only one pokemon may be captured from there.
Rule 3: All Pokemon must be nicknamed.
Rule 4: All legendaries must be killed.

Is it just me or is your team full of pokemon with derp faces? All of them except Darwin are pretty seriously derpy looking :p

Hitmonchan is actually the better hitmon, because he is versatile. He can learn a lot of special punches that can take out ghosts.

I agree about protect spamming. Spamming protect is to pokemon what camping is to Call of Duty. It just draws out the battle and makes it boring as hell. And unlike in Call of Duty, you can't use grenades to make them stop!

I reckon the gym leader rematches should reset all of the trainers in the gym with new teams so you get a proper re-match feeling.

Interestingly enough, it looks like the Kanto region is the only one in the Pokemon world that is actually named after a region in Japan. The regions of Japan are Kyushu, Chugoku, Shikoku, Kinki, Chubu, Kanto, Tohoku, and Hokkaido, according to the map. Kanto's probably the most well-known to otakus,since a lot of animes take place there. This is probably because Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is in Kanto.
