  • As If, I Dont See How Anyone Could Care For Something More Than Their Children, If You'd Rather Put A Religion Before Your Child, For The Love Of GOD, If You REALLY Love Him, Dont Have Kids, Cause You Dont Deserve Them.

  • Hi BlackCaster, it is not about putting religion before your children. It is about a personal relationship with God, through which you can become the person you were created to be and have more love to give your children.

  • I Can Kind Of Agree With That But If It We're Me I'd Make My Personal Religion Revolve Around My Child And Give Them The Choice To Have That Relationship With God Rather Than Myself, I Guess That's How I'd Put My Child First In This Way.

  • But if you have that relationship with God yourself, you are able to lead your children to Him through personal testimony, example etc and then the whole family can know the Lord and be blessed through living His way.

  • My post is an example of what? I was just quoting the bible. Is that misuse? My point was it should be perfect all the way though if it was influenced by God.

You are using it the way it was intended to be used ..To control a persons mind to the point where you would put a god in a 2000 yr old book before your family. In that sense it is the perfect book for most people who have trouble with logic and would rather be told how to think.

  • Half the stuff she said was crap! Some of what she said is true but she shouldn't believe everything that's in the bible. Even the bible talks utter crap in most of it now.

  • @sgtpepper132 Hi there. It doesn't work like that, when a person is born again they enter into a personal relaionship with God, prayer is our means of communicating with Him and it is the Holy Spirit within us that guides us in prayer. If everyone on earth 'prayed' for something, no, they wouldn't all be answered because many would be selfish prayers from unsaved people praying with wrong motives. God is not Father Christmas, He is our Creator who has made a way for us to come to Him.

  • Shut up Sarah... just... shut up.

  • So the cure to AIDS and cancer is in the word of God?

Well, that makes very little sense as according to the bible, God created all good, all evil, and all causes of it....

    ...odd.

Oh, and by moronically bleating out bible quotes in return to Kyle's (very sensible) Advice, you've proven just how bad a parent a devoted Christian is. The fact you'd choose a dead Jewish guy over your own child terrifies me. Seek help, and if you have children I honestly pity them...

    Please, never breed. EVER.

  • Ugh I hate religion.

  • No, the comment was in response to xxxLilGothFaeryxxx saying "I want to believe in god". Don't you think it's so convenient though? "God is never wrong". Man created God to look to science?! Come on Sarah, it's an age-old fairy tale. Science has evolved, progressed, changed to find the TRUE answers, whereas religion is the stubborn mule, forever 'righteous' (but rarely right). You need to take a good look at your life and ask "Why am i doing this? For an eternal afterlife?". Sorry, there is none

  • redantz87, is this reply directed to me? Why would you think I cannot bring myself to believe in God, I do, wholeheartedly, that is why I run this channel. Scientific reasons for God? God created man who looks to science for answers when they are all in the word of God. I am not saying there is anything wrong with studying science, but when God and men disagree it is never God who is wrong.

  • This is brilliant. You want to believe in God, but you physically cannot bring yourself to 'believe', because you realise just how unfathomably ridiculous it all is. It's just a millenia-old fairy tale! You only have to read Genesis 1 & 2 to completely shatter all possible scientific reasons for God. But, as Christians would say, it's the ultimate unanswered question - no proof for or against, since God is CONVENIENTLY not bound by the laws of time, space, weak/strong forces or gravity. Hmmm...!

  • Must You Type With A Capital Letter At The Beginning Of Every Word Like This?! It's very grating and slightly irritating to read, even though i agree with the content of your statements.

  • Putting 'God' first before your own family is a bit ridiculous. The power of prayer is non-existant. It solves nothing; the only way to get things done is to physically do them, not 'wishing'. There are plenty of non-religious families (like mine) who are very succesful, happy, moral and strong, without the need to have a God in their life. Quoting the Bible doesn't solve problems. There are so many cruel and misleading, contradictory stories in the Bible. But, we'll be here all day.
