  • Question: What is the jar AB is using for his pickles? I dont have a crock(execpt the ones to cook french onion soup in) On the old style of his show he used jars, can I use that too? Or should I be using a specfic item?

  • 4:11

    traffic cop??????

  • was he washing the cucumbers with some corn?

  • At 1:53 how has he able to climb down the ladder with the jar in hand?

  • 3:40 LOL!!!

  • @Sk8rToyMachine It's a pun, sauerkraut is a food, kraut is a nickname for a german, that guy was a sour kraut.

  • @ACherimoya Actually, don't worry about it. If you maintain general room temperatures, you'll do okay. You just don't want things too hot or too cold. I've been able to do it in a roughly 70 degree environment. Unless you got a cellar like Alton does that's climate controlled, you're not going to have a perfect environment. Pickles were made for centuries before A/C and central heating, so don't worry.

  • 4:12 ....... ??????

  • I really want to try this method of pickling, but I don't think there's a spot in my house that would maintain the requisite temperature. :(

  • Even the Emeril has seen this.
