  • Dizzy doesn't play on this one... The band is Charlie Parker alto, Miles Davis trumpet, Lucky Thompson tenor, Arvin Garrison guitar, Dodo Marmarosa piano, Vic McMillan bass, Roy Porter drums.

  • That must be Dizzy's impression of Miles Davis.

  • Is it Dizzy or Miles? Sounds kind of pointless like Miles' later music.

  • It's Dizzy. Doesn't sound like Miles

  • Tried playing this in Jazz band for HS. It ended very epic, but couldn't be good enough for the concert.

  • this is pure music, you can feel it...

  • Great era! Because of the 78cpm recording time limitations every soloist had 8 or 12 or 16 bars to perform. So, they tried to be comprehensive

  • I think Devo listened to a lot of Miles.

  • Posting is screwed up...lol..what a moron..

  • Sorry, but why don't you change the title, 'cause there's no Diz? And he won't come along to tell you.

  • @vummeli U are veru right there, sir ..:)
