Osama bin Laden is Dead, But Was Justice Served?

Did the American government ever prove beyond a reasonable doubt that bin Laden was behind 9/11? Not even close.

According to the US government, Osama Bin Laden is dead. According to the US government - a government at the time run by the neo-conservative Bush administration - Osama Bin Laden orchestrated the September 11 terrorist attacks. But did the American government ever prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Bin Laden was behind the attacks? Not even close.

While many Americans are madly celebrating the death of the big bad wolf Bin Laden, their thirst for vengeance hopefully, finally quenched, we must remember that this case is not closed. That even though the American poster boy for Islamic Extremism has finally been eliminated, there exists many doubts among the American public - not to mention the people of the world - that he even was the man who brought down the towers.

Unfortunately, it's the "change" president that ultimately pulled the trigger to end Bin Laden's life without giving him due process, without proving his guilt. Should we be surprised? Of course not. This is the same man after all, who, as soon as he assumed office, didn't hesitate to increase our troop levels in Afghanistan and our drone strikes over the border in sovereign Pakistan.

So when the President says that "America can do whatever we set our mind to", lets hope for our own sake, and the sake of those who may be in the path of our great war machine, that we - as a people, especially in the immediate aftermath of the next great terrorist attack, set our mind to thinking rationally, rather than emotionally, about how to best make sure justice is served.

Seeing as Us watch alot of law stuff on the Tv think if it went to court what evidence have they on bin laden to convict him of the crime....nothng and yet so much coincidences and just plane facts are all over the US gov't and on top of all that Bush and bin laden were business associates so much connections and quirks of fate stock market activity silverstein insurance many deaths of witnesses since nd not to mention scandal of healthcare for the ones that inhaled all the toxic material
