We use an ABB IRB 140 to bend sheet metal. The steel sheet metal pieces were cut and perforated on the waterjet beforehand. Bend motion was programmed manually using MoveC commands. Two grippers are used in coordination to allows repositioning of robot gripper and piece in gripper thereby allowing for successive bends on one piece. Grippers open/close manually while we advance through targets in code.
