  • good luck with your revision. and congrats on the triathlon! i'm hoping to drop weight once i complete PT from 2 major spine surgeries and can start working out. i have already implemented diet changes. after 6 surgeries in 2 years and 2 really bad experiences with general anesthesia these last 2 back surgeries, if i have lost the weight and have the money, i have already consulted with a plastic surgeon who will do my revision under local anesthesia - for me it is dog ears and extra skin.

  • @Zedie36 wow that is an intense surgery schedule! Good luck! I'm lucky and haven't had any problems with anesthesia. i'm feeling quite well after my revision this morning and hopefully the results will be great too.

  • You mentioned you still have your ovaries and all... how does going to the ob/gyn feel/go now?

  • @MrImportrans I've had a couple questions re: obgyn so I will try to make a video soon. I was never *fond* of getting a pap of course, but it doesn't cause me dysphoria. I think that's just my personality and I got lucky. So I just tough it out and go each year. I've noticed that it's slightly more uncomfortable and I think the space has just gotten a bit smaller cos I don't have vaginal sex very often. Just don't like it much. Sorry for so much info. :) But that's the only difference I've had.

  • your. body. looks. so. good. happy for you that you're getting revisions- 4 days away! :) your body transformation over the last year has been so inspiring and, like, heart-warming. i'm definitely motivated by you (and carson, who is now also doing p90x) to keep up my own workout.

thanks for talking about social aspects (2:42 on)- i have every intention to disclose my trans identity and history when on t and conditionally read as cis, and it's great to hear your experience.

    great to see you.

  • @xxthread Thanks for watching & commenting so heartfelt-ly (is that a word? hrmmm). I must go email you now to actually discuss things in more depth than "comments" allow. :D

  • @Popeslave That's cool, thanks for the reply. Looking forward to your video. Mostly wondering what it feels like to be such an obvious guy in the waiting room, hehe. I'm the same way with the dysphoria bit but I haven't been yet since I got surgery and all so I'm just curious about the "social" part of it.

  • hey your revision was today! hope everything goes really well!
