  • Hi, You're definitlely right. I chose this car because the Gremlin represents a major change in automotive history in America. This is the really first car launched to fight imported cars (Bettle, Golf, Honda Civic…) in US, an perhaps one of these cars to have the sense of economy. But the Gremlin wasn't a perfect response, particularly for european "point of vue"…

So, there's some Gremlins still running in France, particularly near Paris, where I'm living.

  • Hi again. I still like your car and just got a 72 gremlin. I have come across a local 76 gremlin and I was wondering if most or some of the parts are interchangeable, like roof rack, air deflector, seats and other interior parts. Thanks..

  • Hi. Most exterior and interior parts are interchangeable and fits easy, like roof rack. Some fenders, grille, bezels, lights and other stuff are differents : 1970-75 Gremlin, 1975-77 model and 1977-78 are differents exterior style.

  • Where did you find the parts for it?

  • The parts ? Easy : Ebay for rare or NOS parts, but you must be patient ! And of course Summitracing.

  • nice vid. was the 304 all stock?what part of france is it in?

  • Hi, AMX Boy. Completely stock motor. This car is parked in Paris, France

  • I might buy a gremlin soon. Its a 73 and completely driveable. $900

  • It's gorgeous... I love that blue. :o

  • Here in America, we're losing our old cars.Filmmakers who dont give a crap are buying whatever ones they can find and wrecking them needlessly in movies. In a few minutes,40 years of survival gone in an intentional rollover or explosion. At least Europeans respect our historic cars rich guys in California are buying up to ruin in box-office bombs.

Any idea if there are any more Gremlins in France somewhere?

  • HARMOSO ESPECIMEN TE FELICITO POR TENER TAN BELLO AUTOMOVIL

  • Awesome car dude! I have a 76 myself...not as nice as this, but in really good shape. I've always thought the 76 was the most appealing in looks. Thanks for posting

  • AMC did make some interesting cars, ie.pacer, Javelin,AMX, marlin. Nice job on this Gremlin

  • Anyone know where I can get an air deflector and roof rack?
