  • @SynthHappens You can get all the albums from the Prototron facebook page. Just search for 'Prototron - Chiptunes and game music covers' in the facebook search and you should find it and the download page is on the left.

A live show would be great If I could find 6 keyboard players but it's hard going. I live in Glasgow, Scotland anyway so it's a bit of a distance to NY haha!

  • @SynthHappens Thanks for the comments mate. :) To answer your questions I used a Korg M1 vst plug in for most of the synths (The original games used a real sampled Korg M1 so I thought I'd keep it in the family) Drums are Battery 3 a selection of with Alesis DM5 sounds and the piano is Miroslav Philharmonic concert grand with some reverb.

  • man the more I listen to this the more I think this is one of the best songs of my life. these notes hit spots in my brain and bring up so many memories of when I used to play this game after school. circa 1989. I need that prototron record or we should do a live show together if youre near nyc.

  • fucking awesome! from a synth band to another you killed it.. what synths did you use on this jam?

This brings all the good memories back.; thanks man. :)

  • Beautiful.
