  • Michio is incredibly smart

  • When I think of future cars, I think of powerless, bloated with useless technology, front wheel drive, boring pieces of shit that track every mile so they can carbon tax you accurately.. Great.

  • Turns out I overlooked one detail. The element is really defined by it's nucleus (proton count/atomic weight) and not the placement of electrons. In fact in quantum physics (for elements) atoms are not necessarily assigned to a "particular" atom but are "shared".My bad.

  • cool

  • As current flows through a wire electrons are said to move from one atom to the next collectively moving from one polarity to the other. Unless all atoms and electrons are perfectly synchronized this implies that for a "micron" of time some atoms would be short of or be in surplus of a moving electron. This further implies that a copper conductor ( according to periodic table) will (at points) fluctuate between nickle and zinc. Has this been studied and what would be the conclusion?

  • The Tesla Model X is AWD.

  • yea.. cause he's damn smart : )

  • Maybe if all the car companies stop making all these new fucking four wheel drives which burn up absolutely everything, we can get somewhere with this idea.

  • can you make it happen tho? All science fiction started as ideas it took years before anything comes from your ideas. so if you build a car that detects cars in front of you right now, you must be a prodigy. Even googles self driving car isn't perfect and theyve had that for a while. It has crashed already. What you say and what other people build are like comparing apples to a robot foot.
