This recipe has been much requested since Colby mentioned in a video a whole year ago that he makes this. I am so sorry it's taken so long to get it on film. Of course, the background noise is brought to you by Roxy as always ;)

This recipe is less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching!

  • OMG! I've been waiting for this! Please tell Colby I said thanks! I can't wait to try this. I feel like I've been the chicken stalker for the past year. Lol..

  • @candsbroadway LOL, I thought you would be happy!

  • Very yummy looking!!! A few random notes: I LOVE your apron hanging in the background! That's the biggest bag of shredded cheese I think I've ever seen. And what is in the Tropicana jug on the stove?

  • @bellsandbabies Haha, we shop at a bulk grocer sometimes and cheese is one good thing to get there because it's so much cheaper! The jug is full of used oil from some shrimp we fried recently.

  • Where did you get that towel/potholder in one deal? I want one!! Great video!

  • @WithGodsGrace I love that thing! It's by Rachel Ray. I *think* you can buy her kitchen line at Kohl's.

  • Alice Springs chicken...mmmmmmmmmm. That's the whole reason I go to Outback Steakhouse.

  • YUM!! I want to try everything you guys make it all looks so yummy! Doug is already a great cook so I love throwing new recipes his way! Thanks! :)

  • Kelsey, we use Holy Cow cleaners. The pink one works WONDERS on our stove when it comes to the burnt on/ greasy stuff that gets around the burners!

They say they're non-toxic and bio-degradable too. Google Holy Cow Cleaners to find the site. :)

  • You don't know how lucky you are having such a multi-skilled husband - he sews, he cooks....amazing!

Given its called Alice Springs Chicken, I'm assuming this is supposed to be Australian cuisine. Erm....I lived in Alice Springs for a few years in my early 20s and never ate anything as gourmet as this! Looks great, will have to try it!

  • aww Colby is adorable! You guys make such a cute, and interesting couple! Nolan is going to be one good looking baby boy! My hubby cooks too, and it's the best thing ever! :-)
