Havok's sophmore album, Time is Up! Havok has to be my favorite Thrash Metal band, including the new and old school. Burn blew me away and now Time is Up is melting my fuckign brain! "Eargasm" Doesn't even begin to describe this album. There are some albums that I'm proud to say I own, and this just rose to the top of my list.

@NuclearPandemic I never liked metalcore but you're right. Why all this hate? Yeah, the whole emo thing is pretty annoying and it's pissing me of when someone calls Metal in general emo music, but why not just ignore it? I always thought the "metal attitude" was more like :"I don't give a shit about what you think!" instead of "You don't like what I like, you suck!!" But I also hate the entire "you're not true, you're a poser, mimimimimi shit." Seriously, let's just bang to fucking Havok!!!

At 1:10 the bass is reminiscent of that bass line from take no prisoners (from megadeth) fuck this band is fucking awesome!

@marioandluigi012345 Yep, they debuted with Fear of Tomorrow in 1985, followed it up with Terror Squad in '87, then released the absolutely KILLER By Inheritance in '89. Then they broke up and didn't reform till 1999 with B.A.C.K., then again broke up until When Death Comes came out in 2009.

@marioandluigi012345 Lol man I love Artillery but considering they've been around for over 20 years now I don't really think they count as part of the "new era". Unless by "new era" you just mean bands that have put out good thrash recently, in which case Overkill(for Ironbound) and Heathen(for Evolution of Chaos) should be there too, heh.
