Hey Iggy, do you think a Choate mk6 dragunov-style stock will fit on a Maverick 88? I know it's made for the mossberg 500 but I figured they might be cross compatible because of the similarities.

YES!! In fact, that's the best stock you could get for that shotgun. It has a built-in 5-round shell holder. Any stock that fits on a Mossberg 500 will also fit on a Maverick 88. But the forearms are different. Mavericks only accept Maverick forearms. They lo0k the same on the outside, but the difference is in the way the forearm fits onto the magazine tube. With a Maverick, it fits directly onto it. With a Mossberg, there's an internal housing inside the forearm.

Sweet! I think I'll leave the forearm alone for now, but I liked the Mk6, even though it is a bit pricey. I definitely wanted something with a pistol grip because it's better for controlling recoil, which the 12ga has plenty of lol.
