This is Maceo's interpretation of Sleepy John Estes song. Whether it's Big Maceo, Muddy Waters, or Bob Dylan performing (even adding their own text to it) , I stiil think it's important not to overlook it's origins. Sleepy John Estes has been eclipsed for too long. He was one of the most prolific blues composers that inspired generations to cover his music, including this cover of Merriweather's cover.

I have been playing many of the blues songs you have posted, with my own touch, but your style is impeccably done due to the realness of them to you!

I am self-taught as far as the gutar is concerned, yes...but I was kind of born

with the Blues and the Gospel (favorite music of my parents) so the gods smiled

on me from birth! :-)
