Well, you guys have been great football players for a long long time. Your fans are used to winning; stands to reason. :)

  • @jessieyt1 Thanks for replying, what a great little story. The internet really can be awesome sometimes.

I just hope England sort themselves out so we can have a little piece of glory like this. Problem is our fans expect a lot; not only was the home Korean crowd happy to win here but it was also an upset against Spain, thus added to the general euphoria. Our fans expect to win most games against teams who aren't the elite, which can lessen enthusiasm against other teams. Still, I have hope :)

Thanks, Slock. (I have always been an Anglophile, myself.) I'm American, just my mother is Korean, and I don't normally care about sports except to play, but the excitement was so infectious I hounded my half-brother into staying up 'til 4 a.m. to watch one game. My 70-something great-aunts were calling from Seoul after games to babble about high points. (I had to remind them I don't speak Korean.) It was great; just the greatest feeling.

  • @7RMadridfan There is no evidence to that fact and Korea dominated Spain in that game. Regardless of what the ref did, Why did Spain lose in the shootout? Are you going to claim that the ref did it? Korea had an outstanding run in 2002 and I'm sick of Europeans bashing them because an asian country DARED to beat a powerhouse.

  • @Headcheezonium But Spain made two damn goals and of course, Them koreans paid the ref to help them cheat.

  • @7RMadridfan Did you even watch either game? Italy was diving like there was an earthquake and gave a South Korean defender a broken nose. Not to mention Vieri missing two open nets in the last 10 minutes. Plus, In Spain's case, nothing but themselves made them lose in the Penalty Shootout.

  • There was no fraud. Only Japanese made a video about Korean fraud n has posted on YouTube. but who cares? just other asians Be jealous. you can see the js park in the Manchester United FC. There is no Japanese, and Chinese. Only Korean, js park. I know. other country more cool soccer than korea. But South Korea also love football. don't be trust about jealous video. see the South Korean Football player who acted in abroad. example Lee ChungYong, js park. they not cheating. korean not cheating.

  • @SlockNCFC191 i cry every time i watch this clip and i watched it like a 100 times.

  • I can't believe tat little country beats Spain:)
