  • For livestock, you need a large amount of productive land. Those livestock gotta eat and drink (in far excess of the calories they provide to you). Chicago may be/have been a hub of agricultural product, but it was not grown there, it was brought there by train from elsewhere. It's the elsewhere that you need to keep free of Z's. To make guns and cars, you need raw materials, materials that are mined and usually smelted elsewhere. No fossil fuels for plastics either.

  • Urban environments are not good for survival, that's in the Zombie Survival Guide so it must be true :)

  • , food was priceless, if you have livestock and can butcher and repopulate them, you have a self sufficient food supply, killing a butcher is like a dog killing its master so it can eat without being obediant, that is until it realizes the food bag is too high for the dog to reach, so you trade guns and ammo from the factories for food, your set, and if you can get a car factory running, you now have transport. and finally the skyscrapers could server as a good scouting tower.

  • hey chicago is in the heart of america, the south shoreline was the workshop of america, and still is the butcher shop of america, everything came from chicago, guns, bullets, planes, cars, cans, beef, pork, wheat, corn, pork, chicken, and still some of the weapon foeges are running, if the apocalypse hits, you make it to the south shoreline, all the fences to keep looters out will easily keep zak out, if the slaughterhouse was still protected, probably by the butchers themselves, food,

  • @ErikaAtheist No Tango is T in military code and thus T of Target Zack is like Charlie for the Vietcong during the Vietnam War

  • Questionable survival methods means they isolated people would punish criminals by feeding them to the zombies. This served two purposes: 1. It would deter crime. 2. It would appease the zombies. Combine both purposes and you have a method of survival, questionable.

  • I love hearing this guys stories, his story of the battle of Yonkers was freaking great...

  • @Consomestudios no thats a "quizzlings"
