  • doesnt heat rise? so naturally won't the hot air be right on top of the intake? I do understand that there is a functional hood scoop there, but thats seems to be only effective when the car is motion. So what happens when the car is stationary, heat soak? That looks really cool tho. Also epic fail for no demonstration.

  • Also, the "ram air" effect is not really applicable to turbo cars, as the turbo is a pump, it will suck as much as it needs, and there very rarely is not enough air for the turbo to suck as much as it needs. The trick is to get cold air.

  • total surface area of the filter is largely irrelevant, due to the fact that each pleat is so close to the next. It's not equivalent to having a stretched out 1100 sq inches of filter area. As was mentioned above, this is simply sales talk.
