Soldano Astroverb16 Demo

Peavey wolfgang to a Soldano Astroverb16 to an Avatar 2x12 loaded with Scumback H55 & H75 30 watts speaker. Just using neck and bridge pick-up and guitar volume to control the tone. Incredible chime from speaker and amp.

what's the ohm rating for the extension cab output?

The Avatar 2x12 is 8ohm. The Astroverb16 output is designed for 16ohm cab but it doesn't have any problem driving the 8ohm cab.

oh cool, that would work perfect for me, as my 412 runs at 16ohms.. You should be careful running a 16ohm speaker out into an 8 ohm cab, you could blow the amp's tranny.

I talked to Mike Soldano himself about this and he said its not a problem with the impedance mismatch.

@metalmusiqcrzy This is the normal channel of the Soldano SLO. For your music, you probably need more gain. With an external pedal you might get there.
